If you find Aladdin’s Lamp – Polish it.

How many times have you received an idea or an interesting resource that you’ve neglected to explore?  Have you ever wondered what it might have been like or what could have been if you had simply followed “The Road not Taken”?

It’s as if you had found Aladdin’s lamp in a dark and musty cave and not realizing what it was, you just kicked it aside and – well you know what happened or rather what didn’t happen!

The genie didn’t pop up and ask what it was that you desired.

Sometimes a tip or a hint that puts you on the right track is worth its weight in gold. But because you didn’t recognize it for what it was, you just left it there lying in the sand.

Well, the same thing applies when you are trying to find a craft or a paying hobby that you hope will inspire you – or even change your life for the better.

Don’t neglect to follow up on a promising lead simply because someone came to the door or something disturbed you. It would be such a pity not to follow up on a potential winner.

I suppose, life consists of many near misses and all sorts of lost opportunities.
